16 Black Owned Cruelty Free Beauty Brands to Support

Share if you like this post!

Supporting black owned cruelty free beauty brands is one of the first steps, for me, in becoming a non-proformative ally.

This post is meant to provide you with amazing black owned cruelty free beauty brands you can shop now and forever.

I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve been ignorant and uneducated on the history of racism in North America.

I need to change and do better. I have sat in my privilege, reflected, and listened.

There is a lot of work to do.

Moving forward, these are the steps I’m taking to change my ignorance.

This is a start.

If you want to read a more in depth explanation of this, I will link my Instagram post outlining what I plan on doing to change and do better going forward- indefinitely.

The support doesn’t end when the hashtag stops trending.

If you work at a company that’s mainly white, challenge and question it.

Stand up for racism when you encounter it.

Support black people by purchasing from black owned businesses.

Do the anti racism work every day.

These brands have amazing product offerings, messaging, ingredient lists, and they’re cruelty free!

One thing that came up quite a bit during listening was the need for white people to create resources to educate each other.

I’ve created this as a resource for white people in the beauty space. Specifically the cruelty free beauty space.
