Mustard Yellow Top and Sale Denim
A Moment to Be Grateful
Yesterday was our Canadian Thanksgiving, a time to spend with family and think about what we're grateful for. To eat a lot of food, drink a lot of sugary drinks and the PERFECT excuse to lay down and nap after dinner. My family is small, very small, and with the loss of my dad every holiday has become extremely difficult. I don't look forward to seeing his chair empty or having extra food because there is one less person to eat it, but it's important to continue cooking a meal and gathering around the table as we always have. I am grateful for what I have, and who I have in my life. I am grateful for education, a beautiful home, a pretty freaking amazing country to live in, a job, and a platform to CREATE and SHARE with you. To connect with you. Thank you to everyone who has supported this blog, thank you thank you thank you.
Mustard Yellow Top
Okay so, fall means yellow, orange, burnt orange, brown, red, green, copper... if it resembles what the trees look like, we want to wear it. AMIRIGHT?! I am succumbing to the most basic of seasons and being THAT girl who wears mustard yellow and stands among foliage. Why? because I think its freaking beautiful! These colours give me LIFE and I hope they give you life too. When I saw this top on the Forever21 website I hit the purchase button faster than you can say pumpkin spice. The colour is absolutely perfect and the detailing around the tops of each shoulder make it feminine, and detail. It sort of reminds me of your grandmothers wallpaper in a way that makes you feel comfort when looking at it, paired with American Eagle denim which is currently 30% off you can't go wrong especially when they fit SO well! Honestly, AE jeans fit me better than any other. And I say that with such enthusiasm in part because of the price tag, with a lot to denim the cheaper the price the cheaper the quality and fit. My issue is mainly related to body type, I have the skinniest of legs and a not-so-thin waist; it's average. Therefore, denim is always too tight in the waist if it fits the legs and too loose in the legs if they fit in the waist. AE takes this into account and I thank them for it, feeling so grateful actually.
