Learn how to style a leather leggings outfit this season without feeling too dressed up. With a bit of finesse, they match the casualness of denim and serve as a versatile basic piece.
Leather leggings are everywhere this year, especially as many people work from home and skip sweatpants.
The best part? They never go out of style, so you can wear them every fall and winter. Also remember black isn’t the only option out there. Neutrals are dominating the leather legging trend this year.
So, if you love a “stick of butter” outfit, a neutral leather leggings outfit is just as chic.

4 Tips for Styling Leather Leggings Outfit
- Combine fabrics– Leather is smooth (obviously) so by adding different fabrics you’re adding various textures into your outfit as well, quite eye pleasing if I do say so myself.
- Create balance by pairing with casual accents– Leather is a more dressy, edgy piece of clothing so adding more casual accessories this will balance out the outfit and make it more everyday.
- Layer for dimension– Think Cat Woman. She never layered and therefore lacked dimension, which was totally not what she was going for anyways but by adding different layers you create more dimensions for the eye which is both playful and beautiful.
- Play with length– I added a french tuck at the front for this leather leggings outfit (shown above) and left the back long which is a nice way of bringing the entire outfit together. It adds length and cohesiveness to the look and stops anything from looking boxy.

Colour Options
I love that these leather leggings aren’t black. While black is versatile, this deep caramel color feels unique and fresh. Plus, neutrals are trending right now, making it easy to find matching pieces. For a soft daytime look, try this leather leggings outfit.

In the cooler months ill be styling these with classic boots and a really nice long coat, cannot wait!
