Love Your Wardrobe Again With These Tips
Tip 1: Love your wardrobe by finding different ways to style what you already have
This could be styling colours, textures, or silhouettes together in a way you haven’t in the past. Colour has a lot to do with how fresh our wardrobe feels so even if you’re a fan of neutrals you could always add something like a different accessory to make it feel fresh and exciting again.

Tip 2: Love your wardrobe again by using tools like Pinterest Instagram and TikTok to get outfit ideas
I always find this tip to be annoyingly obvious and everywhere, but the funny thing is sometimes we have a wardrobe full of great pieces we just don’t know how to style them. The good news is there are infinite FREE resources out there to give you style advice and visuals you can copy. The amount of times I’ve seen an outfit on Pinterest and thought
” I have similar pants and never thought to style them like that ”
So instead of aimlessly browsing these apps like you probably normally do throughout the day make it more strategic, it helps to see other’s wearing something similar so you feel a sense of belonging and relatability with your clothes.
Tip 3: Organize and rearrange your wardrobe
This tip is one I need to work on. If you’re anything like me you have what you wear the most at the forefront of your closet, so when you become sick of these clothes they just stay there in plain sight becoming boring to look at, and inevitably wear. It helps to re-arrange what you have, rotate all of your pieces, organize by colour or style, and make your closet look neat and tidy. There’s something about uniformity that brings out our creativity and lessens the stress of said activity, like getting dressed.

Tip 4: Don’t compare yourself to other people
This might feel like it contradicts step 3 but hear me out. Getting inspiration and ideas from other people is one thing but comparing your wardrobe to others and feeling lesser than is another, we don’t want this. If this happens abort step 3. You don’t NEED designer items, you don’t NEED a set number of shoes, the idea is to create outfits and a wardrobe that meets and satisfies your own personal style and lifestyle.
I find when I spend TOO MUCH TIME on certain apps I start to compare myself to other people, their outfits, how they wear them, how they fit etc. and that’s when the wardrobe dissatisfaction starts. It’s a really bad place to be in so try not to do it.
Tip 5: Be grateful and maybe add a few fresh pieces
This sounds CHEESY but honestly think of what you have, more than likely I know you’re blessed so try and put things into perspective. I know you probably have denim, sweaters, blouses, and shoes so that’s a good place to be in right. Mindset really is everything.
