Now Onto My Lipstick Picks
Back in February I did social media coverage for an International Women’s Day event being held at the Casino in Niagara Falls. The theme was Indigenous climate action and Autumn Peltier was the keynote speaker.
Because of the theme we had a number of Indigenous women from around Niagara and beyond attend to welcome Autumn into our community, Jenn Harper from Cheekbone Beauty was one of them.
I was lucky enough to be gifted the Autumn liquid lipstick, which is a beautiful cool toned true red. I applied it in the bathroom of the lower level casino floor and it was love at first swipe.
I couldn’t believe the application was so smooth, long-lasting, and the pigment was FANTASTIC. Jenn also loved it on me, so there’s that.

Following that day I knew Cheekbone needed to be a part of my makeup collection. So I waited for their summer line to come out but the colours all seemed so dark.
That’s when Lee Vosburg of Style Bee (love my fellow Canadian bloggers) tested the sustain lipstick and it looked light and so pretty on her, so I bought the bundle!

The bundle is $96.00 but currently on sale for $76.00 CAD making each lipstick $25. That’s comparable to brands like MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty, NARS, TARTE, HUDA beauty, Bare Minerals and so many others.
Except they don’t have sustainable packaging (which costs more) and they don’t include incredible details in their packaging (which costs more). So take that into consideration.
Why is this set so special?

What is the wear like?
