A Review of The Best TKEES Sandals for Summer

Share if you like this post!

TKEES really are the best when it comes to minimalist summer sandals. If you’re in the market for new summer sandals, or have been eyeing TKEES sandals for awhile now this post will tell you everything you need to know so just keep on reading!

I’ve raved about TKEES for a while and if you follow me on Instagram you will have seen a lot of their flip flops and slides over the last few years, well there’s a reason for that. You can’t find simple styles that are branded nicely, are well made, and come in colours you can actually wear. But how do they fit? And what styles do I recommend? Keep on reading to find out.

Are TKEES Sandals Comfortable?

From a scale of 1-10 I give them a 9 that one point off being that they’re simply not running shoes. In all seriousness, the sole is a nice thickness providing a comfortable cushion for the bottom of your feet, and the straps between the toes are soft. I’ve never had an issue with blisters or any type of discomfort between the toes and I’ve worn them for long periods of time both walking around and just hanging out.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Price

Starting from $63 for the basic flip flops and slides up to $145 for their higher end footwear. I’ve owned a lot of sandals in my life and these are made to last, the quality and versatility is totally worth it meaning you won’t have to replace yours for years. I used to replace my flip flops and slides after every summer or two and these aren’t even close to needing to be replaced. Quality lasts, let’s just leave it at that.

What TKEES Sandals Style Should I Choose?

This is totally up to you depending on your style preference, I like simple styles and have a few of the flip flops since they’re perfect for my current lifestyle. You can find my current TKEES sandals collection linked below.

The Liners

The liners are pretty traditional and I’ve reached for them a lot recently, they are made from matte leather which gives them more of a luxe feel. The colour is also highly pigmented compared to the others which I find can be worn for more daytime looks, see them in grey and matte black below.

The Glosses

I was surprised by how much I love wearing the glosses, the patent leather material and texture sets them apart from the rest and I like to wear them when I’m feeling in a funky playful mood. They add a bit of definition and interest to an outfit the way the others don’t.

The Nudes

The nudes are of course their signature style. Who doesn’t love a nude shoe? These are the most popular from the flip flops collection, they go with everything in your closet and give you that barely there look.I can’t really say anything more about them other than the colours are fabulous and you’ll reach for them time and time again.

The Riley

The Riley is a bit more styled than the flip flops, with a fun toe detail these were actually my first TKEES purchase, they aren’t as casual as a flip flop so I find I can wear them for dressier occasions. Still super minimal and classic but with a twist, literally. They also some in a variety of great colour ways.

They are a great basic but I have had five pairs and they always fall apart relatively fast. Not to mention that company has the worst, rudest customer service reps. I’m still looking for the perfect leather flip flop.
