Stunning Floral Dresses That Never Go Out Of Style

Floral dresses that never go out of style are like movies you want to re-watch because they make you feel good, you know what to expect, and the story never gets old.

You’ve heard the saying “florals for spring, groundbreaking” right? Well, there’s a reason you see them in stores year after year. I’ve never met a wardrobe with florals I didn’t like, florals add pattern and colour into your wardrobe, while giving you that fresh feeling of a new season.

I’ve rounded up a few of my favourite styles with versatility, design, and price in mind. There’s nothing that says out of office during the summer quite like throwing on a floral dress, a bright lipstick, and some great sandals. I do find my taste to be subtle and that affection goes into patterns as well. Think muted colours and just the right sized floral pattern. When it comes to price and accessibility I’ve learned over the years where to buy dresses from online that have good shipping times, are reliable, and have free delivery.

Floral Dresses That Are Always in Style

Below you’ll see floral dresses by styles, these styles are typically what people are looking for when shopping for floral dresses, at least according to Google. Thanks Google.

I debated whether or not to include a wide range of dress options, but keeping with my brand messaging of less is more I narrowed it down to two styles, and included only a handful of my favourite dresses within those styles.

At the end of the day it’s better to have high quality options over quantity.

Floral Maxi Dresses

One of my personal favourite styles, the floral maxi dress, is both classic and elegant and will have heads turning in every direction. The reason these are so classic is because they’re comfortable and can be worn in differing temperatures given the length.

Floral Midi Dresses

Going a bit shorter, a midi dress is perfect for a sexier nighttime look or if you’re looking to create an outfit that’s a bit dressier. Add a cropped jacket and a great pair of heels and you’re good to go. Midi dresses also offer a nice alternative if you don’t like the amount of material a maxi dress typically has. So if you’re one of those women who prefer bare legs, this option is for you.

Summer Floral Dresses Pair Really Well With

Simple Sandals

How about a great pair of minimalist sandals that come in a variety of neutral colour ways so you can basically pair your dress with any of them. Since a floral dress is somewhat busy in itself I recommend keeping the footwear to a minimum in terms of colour and style.

A Versatile Bag

You’ll likely need a bag for running errands, going out for the evening and just day to day activities. I purchased a Samara bag a few months ago and use it for everything. They’re versatile and can be worn different ways, minimalist which pairs perfectly with a floral pattern, and they are a great price point for the quality.

I went with the Fanny Pack in Tan, the bag comes with two different straps for varying looks. So versatile.

Where Can You Buy Cute Floral Dresses

Let’s get one thing straight, not all floral dresses are made equal. The one thing that differentiates a classic floral dress that can be worn for years to come and one that only works for a season is the quality. I highly recommend when it comes to floral dresses spend a bit more money on a better quality piece, the reason is florals can look cheap if the material is cheap and tend to have a less appealing pattern.

Including the brands linked above you can buy cute floral dresses for women at any of the following brands:

  • H&M (specifically their conscious line, the floral dresses in that line are always gorgeous)
  • Anthropologie
  • Reformation
  • Doen (a little pricer but the quality is fantastic)
  • Madewell
  • Sezane
  • Mango
  • Hudson’s Bay (Canadian)
  • Nordstrom
  • LACAUSA
  • Christy Dawn (premium and meant to be heirloom pieces)
